Chapar khaneh (courier house)

The courier houses in persian language is called Chapar khaneh which is originally an Achaemenids invention (500 BC). these buildings used to be a resting house for the horse riders (chapars) on the royad trade roads of Achaemenid dynasty there also is some stables to keep horses for the chapars to switch their horses in case of need. Meybod Chapar khaneh how ever is fromQajar era (1925-1979). As the main building was used to keep the governmental high secret letters and orders, it is designed like a fort and got lots of Ramparts to keep it safe and secure from possible threats.
