Bahram fire temple of Yazd

As one of the most sacred temples of Zoroastrian religion in Iran, the building is protecting a holy fire which is burning since 1500 years ago as a symbol of purification.Fire is a holy element of Zoroastrian belief that got its own ceremony of consecration for which it might take around a year and about 32 priests to complete it. The fire inside this temple is one of the highest grades of fire gathered in Zoroastrian religion and is called the fire of victory.
