Amir chakhmaq complex of Yazd

Amir chakhmaq or Mir chakhmaq mosque complex is built under Teimurid dynasty ( 15th century ) by governer Amir jalaledin chakhmaq and his wife. This complex consists of a mosque, square, public bath, a mourning place called Tekyeh, well and teimurid era water reservoirs. The Amir Chakhmaq structure has a three-story elaborate façade of symmetrical sunken arched alcoves. The building is lit up with orange lighting in the alcoves at night, which give it a spectacular appearance.
